Konica FC-1

The Konica FC-1 was a 35mm, SLR, film camera, which was first introduced by Konica in 1980. The FC-1 featured a through-the-lens Automatic Exposure and shutter speed-priority. An external motor could be attached to the FC-1: Auto Winder F. This motor was quite large and not very fast. This Japanese camera was equipped with a Hexanon AR 40mm f/1.8 standard lens, made of six elements arranged in five groups. Specifications The Konica FC-1 was fitted with a digital-controlled, vertical travel, metal focal plane shutter, whose speeds ranged from 1 to 1/1000 plus B, 2. Konica FP

The Konica FP was a 35mm, mechanical SLR camera which was manufactured by Konica from 1963. The FP featured the bayonet type Konica mount and was equipped with a Hexanon 52mm f/1.4 standard lens, made of 7 elements arranged in 5 groups. The FP was fitted with a Copal Square shutter with speeds from 1 to 1/1000th of a second plus B. Connections were provided for both electronic flash (X) and flash bulbs (M). Flash sync was at 1/125th of a second with electronic flash, and 1/30 or 1/60 with different types of flash bulbs. The Konica FP had a slot in the shutter speed dial that served as a point for an accessory Konica Lightmeter or Lightmeter II to interconnect. The Konica AF3 was a 35mm, rangefinder film camera, which was introduced by Konica in 1984. It was a nifty, compact camera which featured an auto-focus mechanism, an EE system, and a built-in flash unit. The auto-focus mechanism of the AF3 incorporated an active infrared focus-detection system, which had been designed to assure precise focusing automatically. The AF3 was available in different colors, which included yellow, silver, and black. It was fitted with a Hexanon 35mm f/2.8 lens, which was made of four elements. Specifications The Konica AF3 was equipped with an electronic, programmed, behind-the-lens shutter with speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/500th of a second. The Konica FS-1 was a 35mm, single lens reflex, film camera which was manufactured by Konica of Japan from 1978. The FS-1 was the first SLR with built-in motor drive. It was equipped with a Hexanon AR 40mm f/1.8 standard lens made of 6 elements, arranged in 5 groups. The mount was bayonet-type Konica mount 11. Specifications The Konica FS-1 was fitted with a digital-controlled, vertically travel electronic metal focal plane shutter, with speeds: B. 2, 1 ~ 1 /1000 sec. The Konica C35 was a 35mm, rangefinder, film camera which was manufactured by Konishiroku from 1968. The C35 was a compact, light and simple to handle camera with an excellent lens which took good, sharp photographs because it could be focused accurately. It featured a Hexanon 38mm f/2.8 standard lens, made of 4 elements arranged in 3 groups. It was available in black or silver. Minolta Six

The Minolta Six was a bakelite collapsible 6×6, film camera which was introduced by Molta of Japan in 1936. Minolta Six was released as an improvement of the Minolta Vest in 6×6 format. The body was made of bakelite reinforced with metal parts. The lens and shutter assembly was mounted on a front plate, itself attached to a collapsible structure composed of three rectangular sliding boxes. The Minolta Six was equipped with a Coronar Anastigmat 80mm f/4.5 lens, which was capable of rendering very sharp pictures. The Six was manufactured with three different types of Crown shutters:1) Crown B shutter with speeds 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/200th of a second plus B; 2) Crown C shutter with speeds 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/150 speeds plus B; 3) Crown S shutter 1/5, 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100, 1/200th of a second plus B. Daguerreotype

A daguerreotype was an early type of photograph which was developed by Jacques Daguerre, in which the image was exposed directly onto a mirror-polished surface of silver bearing a coating of silver halide particles deposited by iodine vapor. In later developments bromine and chlorine vapors were also used, resulting in shorter exposure times. The daguerreotype was a negative image, but the mirrored surface of the metal plate reflects the image and makes it appear positive when the silvered surface had a dark ground reflected into it. Daguerreotype was a direct photographic process in which the photograph could not be reproduced and was therefore unique. The daguerreotype was the first publicly announced photographic process (1839) and while there were competing processes at the time, the accepted scientific etiquette of the time was that discovery was attributed to first published.
