Konica FS-1

The Konica FS-1 was a 35mm, single lens reflex, film camera which was manufactured by Konica of Japan from 1978. The FS-1 was the first SLR with built-in motor drive. It was equipped with a Hexanon AR 40mm f/1.8 standard lens made of 6 elements, arranged in 5 groups. The mount was bayonet-type Konica mount 11.

Specifications

The Konica FS-1 was fitted with a digital-controlled, vertically travel electronic metal focal plane shutter, with speeds: B. 2, 1 ~ 1 /1000 sec. Electronic flash synchronization X was at 1/100th of a second, which was set automatically. The FS-1 featured a Gallium Arsenide Phosphour TTL light meter and shutter-priority auto-exposure. The camera was equipped with a pentaprism eye-level viewfinder; magnification X0.67 (at infinity with 40mm standard lens); field-of-view ratio 90%; real-image alignment system with split-image, microdiaprism and mat plane. The FS-1 was powered by four 1.5V AA alkali manganese dry cell batteries.
